- Meraki 2012 was a successfully conducted on 1st and 2nd March 2012
- Meraki 2012 received a total of 84 registrations from all over India
- Grand finale included the Seminar Panel, presentations by top five finalists and closing ceremony and felicitation of the top five teams and sponsor of the event – FTF India which was the social partner of the event.

Prizes
- Top 3 teams were felicitated with the fellowship of Rs 1, 50,000, Rs 1, 00,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively for the first, second and third prize respectively
Winners
We Thinkers – This team of girls from SNDT Women’s College, Mumbai received the fellowship for their business plan called Srujna. Their business model was to create sustainable livelihood opportunities for underprivileged people, through the vocation of imitation jewelry making
Green Energy – This team representing IIM, Bangalore won the second fellowship. The group had developed and patented a business process and design for producing electricity through biomass. They were, at the time of the competition in the process of setting up their plant in Saharanpur
Agamya – The team representing NITIE, Mumbai won the third Meraki fellowship. The team had an innovative business model to meet the growing demand for medical herbs by producing, packaging and transporting medical herbs to companies that manufacture herbal drugs such as Dabur
